Afghanistan takes major step towards government formation: Loya Jirga

In tribal traditions, jirga has the status of a grand parliament in which the chief of each tribe represents on behalf of his people and the decision of this jirga is a national decision.

Important progress has been made towards the formation of a new government in Afghanistan. The first Loya Jirga was organized by the Taliban in Kabul, headed by Dr. Amir Khan Mutaqi, head of the Taliban's "Invitation and Guidance Commission.". According to the foreign broadcaster, the chiefs of almost all the major tribes of Afghanistan have participated in the Loya Jirga. Loya Jirga has the status of a grand parliament in the tribal traditions of Afghanistan in which the chief of each tribe represents on behalf of his people and the decision of this jirga is a national decision.

Some anti-Taliban tribes will face severe difficulties because tribes that do not obey the Loya Jirga decision are not only socially boycotted but also fined heavily. UrduPoint in its report has indicated several months ago that the Taliban are working on an Iranian-style democratic model in which the real power will be with a high-powered committee or commission consisting of scholars and will provide guidance to parliament and the government.

Dr. Amir Khan Mutaqi, who has been an important member of the Taliban negotiation process in Doha, said that the Emirate of Islamic Wants to include all nations and dharas in Afghanistan, taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said, adding that no Afghan citizen needs to leave the country.

He said afghanistan belongs to the Afghan people and will work together for its development. The Taliban has appointed Haji Muhammad Idris as the acting governor of the country's state-run bank, bank of Afghanistan. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid announced his posting in a tweet saying that the Taliban leadership did not give them the system of government agencies, other banking affairs and people's Decided to deploy to solve problems.

On the other hand, the Taliban have besieged Panj Sher. Zabihullah Mujahid has claimed that three districts of Baghlan province, Bannu, Pal Hisar and Da Salah, have been completely cleared of the enemy. In his Twitter message, he said that the Salang Highway is open and the rebels are confined to Panj Sher. The Panj Sher Valley, surrounded by the high peaks of Hindukush north of Kabul, has long been known as the center of resistance.

"Taban is trying to find a peaceful solution to this problem. We don't want bloodshed. The foreign help that the rebels are waiting for will not come, so they should take advantage of the declaration of general amnesty and surrender," Zabihullah Mujahid said.
